A Boston Red Sox minor league affiliate is making fun of Tim Tebow and using it for a giveaway.
The New York Mets assigned the former NFL star to their Low-A minor league affiliate, the Columbia Fireflies, to star the 2017 baseball season.
The Greenville Drive have decided to make fun of Tebow and will give away free Burger King Whoppers to everyone in attendance from June 13 to 15, when they host the Fireflies for a three game series, if Tebow strikes out three times in a game.
While Tebow has been horrible in winter ball and spring training, he only struck out five times in six exhibition starts, and never more than twice in a single game.
