The question to whether people will show up to see an R-rated comic movie has been answered with a definite "YES."

"Logan," which is set to be the last time Hugh Jackman plays the iconic Wolverine character made famous in the "X-Men" movies, made a whopping $85.3 million over its first three days.

With its unusual R-rating, the number stands as the best ever posted by an R-rated title for the month of March.

The movie has been met with outstanding reviews, calling it one of the best comic book movies to date.

After the success of "Logan" and "Deadpool" we can probably expect more R-rated comic book based movies to come.

"Get Out" came in second with an impressive $26.1 million in its second weekend.
