Organizers of the extremely popular music festival, Coachella, were scrambling after Beyonce had to drop out of headlining due to her pregnancy. Luckily, they found a pretty great replacement.
Lady Gaga announced on Twitter and Instagram that she will be replacing Beyoncé as the top Coachella headliner on consecutive Saturday nights. “Let’s party in the desert!”
Organizers thought it was important to replace Beyoncé with a female performer, and lucky for them, one of the best was ready to step in.
Gaga will be the first woman to be double-billing the festival since Björk in 2007. Beyoncé will headline the 2018 festival.
