The White House is reportedly very distraught and "rattled" over Melissa McCarthy's incredible portrayal of press secretary Sean Spicer on last weekend's SNL. Instead of easing up, many are urging SNL to go full throttle. How would they do that? How about Rosie O'Donnell as Steve Bannon?
Politico reported that "it was Spicer's portrayal by a woman that was most problematic in the president's eyes." As one President Trump donor puts it, "Trump doesn't like his people to look weak."
Many fans on Twitter started saying that SNL should hire Rosie O'Donnell to dress up as Trump to really get under his skin. Trump is already famously played by Alec Baldwin, so then the idea was sparked that she should play the president's key advisor, Steve Bannon.
Rosie is 100% on board.
"If called, I will be ready," O'Donnell tweeted. "I am here to serve."
Stay tuned as "Saturday Night Live" may not pull any punches on President Trump and his staff.
