Could O.J. Simpson be getting out and getting paid?
The Hall of Fame football player is eligible for parole in October of 2017, where he could be released after serving 9 years of a 33-year prison sentence.
10 years after he was acquitted of murdering his ex-wife, Nicole Brown, and her friend Ron Goldman, he was part of a group that stole 800 items from sports memorabilia dealers in Las Vegas.
If Simpson gets out, he could have a big chunk of cash waiting for him. Simpson has accrued $2.7 million in retirement benefits from his days of playing for the Buffalo Bills and San Francisco 49ers.
And if you are thinking that he still owes the $33.5 million he was ordered to pay when he was found civilly liable of the murders of Brown and Goldman, laws state that pension money cannot be collected by creditors.
