While the switch from Donald Trump to Arnold Schwarzenegger seemed to garner a lot of interest, it appears viewers are not to jazzed about the action star and former Governor of California taking over for the President-elect in the boardroom.
NBC’s two-hour premiere delivered 4.9 million viewers and a 1.3 rating among adults 18-49 on Monday night. That’s down a steep 44 percent in the ratings compared to the reality show’s previous opener back in 2015.
While the network did point out that the show faced serious competition from the Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl last night, these ratings are not a good sign.
Ratings might have fallen because people liked Trump on the show, or they might be boycotting it because of his ongoing attachment to the series.
Either way, the show was destroyed in the ratings by the season premiere of "The Bachelor."
