Alan Thicke, the iconic TV Dad from 80's classic "Growing Pains" has died at the age of 69.
Thicke had chest pains while playing hockey with his 19-year-old son and died at a Los Angeles area hospital a short time later.
Thicke not only was well-known for "Growing Pains," but also as a composer of classic television theme songs such as the ones from “Diff’rent Strokes” and “The Facts Of Life."
As many people also know, he is the father of famous singer Robin Thicke as well.
Alan Thicke will be seen in the upcoming second season of "Fuller House" on Netflix.
For now, Hollywood mourns the loss of a an icon.
