"Celebrity Apprentice" returns on January 2nd, without longtime host Donald Trump. Arnold Schwarzenegger has taken over the show. However, Donald Trump will remain as executive producer on the NBC show.
In the credit sequence, Trump’s name will air after that of “Apprentice” creator Mark Burnett and before Schwarzenegger, who is also an exec producer of the new incarnation.
What is strange about this is that the President of the United States will be getting paid by MGM for the show.
So basically, his status as President could give higher ratings to a show that he profits off of.
Ethics experts are not happy about the complications this brings about for the President-elect.
