10 years ago, Steve Irwin, known to many as the Crocodile Hunter, died after being injured by a stingray while filming a documentary in Queensland’s Great Barrier Reef. Now, over 23,000 people have signed a petition calling for Australian conservationist and television presenter Steve Irwin to feature on the country’s currency.
When people think of Australia, many people associate right away with the iconic TV star, and now Kyle Ryan, one of the petition's founders, says its time for Australian's to “our respects to the all time greatest Australian bloke, Steve Irwin. Let’s make a change for something in the history of our country.”
This seems like a cause everyone should support.
