Father Tom Plant of St. Michael's Church in London is a huge fan of Metallica and Nine Inch Nails. His love of music has driven him to apply for a live music license so that the church can become a venue for gigs. Father Plant wants the church to be able to host shows four nights a week, to crowds of 300 people.
Plant is also looking to install a bar, sound stage, and sound system to the church as well. When talking about whether a church should be serving alcohol, Plant, who became a Vicar at St. Michaels in January, said "we believe Jesus turned water into wine for a reason."
